Since arriving in LA in 2004, Jayk has appeared in around 30 national commercials, and on Comedy Central, E!, MTV and ABC Family. He plays Brandon Dedd in the upcoming indie release The Dedd Brothers and recently had a small role in The Social Network. When not acting, Jayk directs / writes / and workshops plays with The Brimmer Street Theater Company and needtheater, performs stand-up comedy and freestyle rap battles. He has produced, created and starred in comedic web series for Current TV, Fremantle Media and Sun Microsystems. As a member of Hipsters Heart Hip Hop, Jayk produces and performs in indie rap shows around LA. Jayk graduated Emerson College in 2004 with a degree in Theater Studies: Acting and Directing, and has trained at North Carolina School of the Arts, Boston University Theater Institute, and El Galliner in Girona, Spain.

Is a seasoned Grind Time rap battler. Hosts a monthly underground hip hop, beat-making and indie music night called Galaga 2331.
